WIOA Programs
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs are fully funded by grant awards from the California Employment Development Department (EDD) using Department of Labor funding, which provide 100% of the total program funding. In PY 2025–2026, the Merced County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) has budgeted the following amounts:
- WIOA Adult – $2,140,122
- WIOA Dislocated Worker – $1,758,921
- WIOA Youth – $2,279,338
- WIOA Rapid Response – $200,839
- WIOA Layoff Aversion – $276,753
Quality Jobs, Equity, Strategy, and Training (QUEST) 2022
The QUEST program is funded by the US Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $500,000 (100%) with $0 (0%) state, local and/or non-federal sources.
Quality Jobs, Equity, Strategy, and Training (QUEST) 2023
The QUEST program is funded by the US Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $630,000 (100%) with $0 (0%) state, local and/or non-federal sources.
