Applications are reviewed by our Board of Directors and recommended for appointment by the Merced County Board of Supervisors. The Merced County Board of Supervisors make the final appointment to our Board.
Terms for new members are for two years, initially, that is usually extended for a longer period of time. The Workforce Board chairperson(s) assigns members to working committees.
